Washington, DC - Paradigm Research Group fully endorses the efforts by Jeff Peckman and his colleagues to secure and pass a ballot initiative creating an extraterrestrial affairs commission for the great city of Denver, Colorado.
All exopolitics is local. The coming formal disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence by the major world governments will affect every citizen of every nation. It will impact their way of life and world view in many ways - some of which cannot yet be known.
The sooner the general public takes proactive measures to assert its interests, the sooner the comfort level with the pending transition underway will be normalized.
There is no reason why local governments should wait for the formal action of federal authority to begin an open process of acclimatization.

Extraterrestrial sightings: I wish to state for the record that I have been a speaker at the ECETI.org Conference held at the ECETI Ranch at Trout Lake, WA at the foot of Mt. Adams, WA in July 2006, 2007, and 2008 on the subject of Exopolitics, and have witnessed ultradimensional intelligently powered craft on sky watches in the evening sessions after the Conference day sessions are complete in each time I attended.
Specifically, on the evening of July 5, 2008 between 10:30 PM and 1:30 AM on July 6, 2008, I witnessed a total of approximately fifteen (15) ultradimensional craft which at different times visibly navigated across the skies above me and about 300 assembled witnesses. These craft appeared to intelligently signal the witnesses in a benign fashion.
In my professional opinion, this manifestly benign ET presence requires citizen-approved extraterrestrial affairs commissions such as the Denver ballot initiative.
I make this statement in order to support the Denver ballot initiative and urge voters to approve this historic and far-sighted measure.

"This year marks the 30th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly Decision (1978) 33/426 calling for the creation of a United Nations Department or Agency to study extraterrestrial life and UFOs. Paragraph 2 of the Decision states: "the General Assembly invites interested Member States to take appropriate steps to coordinate on a national level scientific research and investigation into extraterrestrial life, including
unidentified flying objects..." The proposed ordnance for an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission is an important first step towards implementation of this historic UN Decision.
